Users hope to be able to find houses anytime and anywhere, but many mobile versions of platforms often do not support responsive web design (RWD) well, or there is insufficient storage on their phones to download an app, which requires a more unobtrusive and convenient tool for finding houses.

I am responsible for product positioning in the early stages, defining roles, designing the dialogue flow structure, to the icon and dialogue card design. During this period, I collaborated with a backend engineer for development and participated in testing until we successfully created it on the Line platform.

According to SimilarWeb's statistics from 2018, the most used messaging app in Taiwan is Line. Whether connecting with friends, family, or official accounts of businesses, Line is used to interact with users. Therefore, we decided to use a Line Bot to allow users to find ideal housing options through an easy conversational method.

Line is a highly used and widely spread platform, allowing users to quickly join through QR Codes, sharing among friends, or searching on official accounts. Through Line Bot, it not only provides a more convenient way to find places but also enhances product dissemination and expands the user base.
Our customers originally relied on various apps within the Shopify App to meet their customized service needs. However, there may be mutual constraints between each app or with Shopify, which prevents customers from creating the best sales experience to achieve the highest sales.

I designed the famous attractions of Taiwan's counties and cities into icons, using the main colors of the product as the overall color scheme. The illustration design makes everything look more approachable and closer to the users.

Explore from scratch
Line Bot is a product I have never encountered before, and it is also a field with relatively little information available. Therefore, the engineers I collaborated with and I started exploring from scratch, referring to the official documentation to define what our Line Bot could do, what design materials we needed, and so on. It was a very interesting process that sparked my strong interest in the field of Line Bot. If there is an opportunity in the future, I would like to challenge such a product again!

During the process of competitive analysis, I found that it offers great application flexibility, allowing functionalities like data filling and querying through dialogue and embedded links. I believe it is a wonderful supplementary product that can incorporate simple features, enabling users to access them quickly and conveniently. Additionally, it allows for product information to be pushed out, so I think Line Bot is a part worth investing in and developing!
